A checkup when you join, and one every quarter.
Technology drifts: updates pile up, a backup quietly stops, a password never got its second factor, the Wi-Fi channel fills with the neighbours. A checkup catches all of it before it becomes a problem. You get one when the plan starts and one every calendar quarter after - and none of them draw from your 5 hours.

What to expect
- 01
Book it, or let us
Choose 'Checkup' when you book from your dashboard or the app - or we schedule the quarter's checkup for you. It can ride on any visit.
- 02
We go through the devices
Up to 5 devices each time: operating system and app updates, the backup and whether it actually restores, security settings and second factors, and the Wi-Fi - coverage, channel, guest and IoT networks.
- 03
You get the summary
The service report in your inbox lists what was updated, what was fixed and anything that needs a decision from you.
What's included
- An initial checkup when your plan starts, then one per calendar quarter
- Up to 5 devices per checkup - computers, phones, tablets, the router, a NAS, a smart speaker
- Operating system and app updates, backup verification, security settings and second factors, Wi-Fi review
- Quick fixes made on the spot, and a written service report afterwards
Limits, and what bills separately
- A second checkup in the same quarter is an ordinary visit and draws hours
- Devices beyond 5 in one checkup draw hours like any other work
- If the checkup turns into a repair or a project, that time is logged as an ordinary session
Section 4 · Checkups & New-Device Setups
“An initial technology checkup when your plan starts, and one checkup per calendar quarter thereafter - updates, backups, security settings and Wi-Fi reviewed on up to 5 devices per checkup. Not drawn from your included hours when booked as such through your dashboard or the Ryse app.”
