Ryse Home PlanPart of your hours

A desk that never drops the call.

Your income should not depend on the Wi-Fi reaching the back bedroom. The plan includes a work-from-home desk setup as part of its scope: we wire the desk where it matters, make the dock and monitors behave, test the camera and audio on a real call, and set the router to put your calls first.

A wired drop to the desk where we can, or an access point where the desk actually is - never a signal that fades when the microwave runs.

How it works · 3 steps

What to expect

  1. 01

    We audit the desk

Connection, dock, monitors, camera, microphone, and what else the house is doing while you're on a call.

  2. 02

    We fix the weak link

A wired drop or a mesh node where the desk is, dock firmware and display scaling sorted, the camera and audio chosen and set.

  3. 03

    We protect the calls

Router quality-of-service puts your calls ahead of the TV and the downloads; a test call confirms it before we leave.

Included

What's included

  • Desk connectivity: a wired connection, or the right access point, where the desk actually is
  • Dock, monitors and peripherals configured so one cable wakes the whole desk
  • Camera, microphone and lighting checked on a real call
  • Router quality-of-service set to prioritise calls and meetings
Good to know

Limits, and what bills separately

  • Booked like any visit and drawn from your hours - most desks take a single visit
  • Hardware - a dock, a cable run, a mesh node, a better camera - is billed separately with your approval
  • Long cable runs through walls are quoted separately; in-wall electrical work needs a licensed trade

Where you'll find it

  • Book a visit

Book a visit and say it's the desk; a technician arrives with the gear to test and the parts list to recommend.

  • After the visit

The service report records what was wired, which settings were made, and the test-call result.

Work-from-home setup, answered

It is part of what your hours cover, not a separate allowance: the visit is logged like any other and comes from your 5 monthly hours. Most desks are done in one visit.
