Ryse Home PlanUnused hours carry forward

A quiet month is never wasted.

Most months you won't need all 5 hours. The plan keeps what you don't use: unused hours roll into the next month and stack, up to a balance of 10 hours - two months' worth - ready for the month everything happens at once.

Watch the bank fill

Set how many hours each month uses. The balance carries forward on its own and stops at the cap.

The dashed line is the cap. Each month opens with its 5 hrs plus what the previous month left, never more than 10 hrs.

8 hrs

8 hrs expired because a month opened with more than the bank holds (10 hrs: this month's 5 hrs plus up to 5 hrs carried in). Two quiet months fill it; a third is where hours expire.

How it works · 3 steps

What to expect

  1. 01

A month ends with hours unused

Say you used 2 of this month's 5. The other 3 don't disappear at renewal.

  2. 02

They carry into the next month

Next month opens with its fresh 5 plus the 3 you carried in - one pool, no claiming, no asking.

  3. 03

The balance stops at the cap

You can hold up to 10 hours at a time. Hours above that expire, so the bank rewards the quiet months without growing forever.

Included

What's included

Good to know

Limits, and what bills separately

  • Hours above the 10-hour balance expire
  • Banked hours have no cash value and expire when the plan ends

Section 3 · Included Hours & Banking

“Included hours you do not use carry forward to later billing months, provided the hours available in any month - that month's included hours together with hours carried forward - never exceed 10 hours; hours above that balance expire. Carried hours have no cash value and expire when the plan ends.”

Hours bank, answered

The bank exists for the busy month, not as a savings account. Two months' worth covers a move, a new office, a family's worth of new phones. Past 10 hours the oldest hours expire, which keeps the plan priced for a household rather than a business.
